Our extra spicy vegan version of the traditional Korean Red Gochugaru kimchi

Spicy Pungent Ferment / Spicy / Chili pepper, ginger, garlic

The mildly spicy (maewoon gochugaru) sauce is made from sun dried red chili pepper flake, ginger, garlic & rice porridge; fermented for weeks. Our kimchi does not contain fish sauce or dried shrimp. Instead, our home made broth is based on shitake mushrooms.
